The title page is blind stamped "Presentation Copy"; ALS from Ashley-Cooper to Holmes tipped in; two small annotations by RSH in the margins, one concerning his copy of EM Grace's diary of the 1863/64 tour to Australia. With the later signed bookplate of Judge Bertram Wakley.
